Woodstock 40+ Years Later
Were you there for "An Aquarian Exposition: 3 Days of Peace and Music", at Max Yasgur's 600-acre dairy farm near White Lake in the town of Bethel, New York, from August 15 to August 18, 1969, better known as “Woodstock”? Tell us about some of your more interesting "happenings" on the way to the concert and while there. How old were you when you attended? Where did you travel from to attend? Where were you born (city and state)? Did you meet anyone of significance? What are you doing now?
After watching Woodstock (the movie) for the umpteenth time in my life, I couldn't help but wonder about the "kids" that hitchhiked or rode in VW vans with 10 others to be there. I call the concert goers "kids" because, even if some of them weren't kids, for 3 days they were. Watching the interviews of some of them made me wonder "Where are they now?". Would these Woodstock attendees want to tie up their kids and throw them in a closet if they thought of attending an event like this now or are they still "searching for the truth" any where they can find it? If you attended, I would like to hear from you. You can remain anonymous or include your name if you wish. Let me hear from you.
